Our Sliced Ibérico Salchichón is an authentic Spanish product made from the finest Ibérico Pork, sourced from small, family-owned farms in southern Spain that specialize in raising the prized Black Iberian Pigs. This slow-growing, heirloom breed is fed a diet of acorns and allowed to walk and graze at their leisure, developing natural muscle alongside their fat. All the farms partnering with Nordic Catch adhere to the aleJAB methods–a nonprofit dedicated to regenerating soils and agroecosystems.

Dry-Cured for Exceptional Flavor and Shelf-Stability

The Ibérico Salchichón is dry-cured, which means it can be stored in a cool, dry place until opened. Once opened, any leftovers should be refrigerated. The mixture of salt and spices serves the dual purpose of preserving the ham while making it appetizing to consume. Flavored with an enticing bite of black pepper and rich red wine, our Ibérico Salchichón has a mild and pleasant spice profile that is not overpowering or overly spicy.
